Week in rewind
In Belgium, on 11/11 we celebrate Armistice Day (WO I) and get a day off from work and school. We wanted to take a trip a theme park with the family but due to many being closed on a Monday and bad weather made us decide to go for something indoor. In the end, we settled for Autoworld in Brussel showcasing the history of cars. Truly a joy to see the evolution of car manufacturing and some classic cars. And like I posted on Mastodon, they can make as many cars as they want, they won’t look as good as the classics.
My youngest son had to go to the hospital for checkup of his hand, after the surgery of last week. The wounds have healed nicely and he’ll be able to do everything of sports and activities as before. Minor detail is that he’ll need to wear a pressure glove for at least 1 year to ensure the scar tissue heals without leaving traces.
My gf’s aunt turned 60 and invited us for a party. It started early enough for the children to attend as well. It was so nice seeing them enjoy themselves and being proud of going to bed very late.
I’m still not feeling too well. I’m not really sick, but also not feeling 100% ok. My stomach is acting up and often I’m tired in the evening. I went out for a short run on Thursday which went quite ok, however, the feeling I had afterwards and the day after was that after completing a half marathon. I might need to go for a blood test if this continues for the 3rd week in a row.
I’ve been looking at the growth of Bluesky in the past week. I already created an account a while ago but abandoned it due low activity. I’m doing some crossposting as @gobino and will see how it turns out. But for now, Mastodon and the social.lol community will continue to be my main hangout.
We closed the week getting together with friends and children for fries and cava. The concept is simple, we get together, start of with some cava and finish off with real Belgian fries. Heaven!

Not much time for listening this week.
Apps in focus
I’m having a look at some photography apps to share online. I restarted with The foto app and will look at Glass as well as they are offering a 14 days free trial and 50% reduction (20 instead of 40$) for a full membership.
