Weekly rewind - W36 ⏪
A headlight is definitely needed for my evening runs.
⏪ Week in rewind
🏫 The quiet days are over, school has begun. Last week, the boys started again, so we had to get used to again preparing dinner on time and making sure they all do their homework. As was expected, they had a hard time getting out of bed and needed a lot of encouragement to do all their school chores.
🏃🏼 I had a very good week of running. I had to skip a day due to an event at work, but in the end, I managed to run as many kms as my training plan estimated. And except for yesterday, with the hot weather, I had a very good feeling during each run. So everything is going according to plan. This week, I'll need to do some tests, so perhaps as of next week, things can become a bit harder.
🛋️ By putting a lot of focus on my running, I noticed I don't have much time for much else. With the family life obligations, I'm only able to run in the evening, and as the runs take more time, it's quite late (and dark) when I return home. So after a shower, I relax a bit and head to bed to recover for the next day. I want to do more, but I also don't want to jeopardise my sleep and wellbeing.
🖥️ I had a full-filling work week. As I mentioned in The pleasure of having my colleagues around ✍️, some members of my team were in the office, providing a fresh breeze to my motivation and productivity.
✍️ My Blaugust challenge came to an end on Saturday. I managed to write every day, and I'm quite proud of it. I might take it a bit easier in the next days, although I still have so many ideas to write about.
