Weekly rewind - W34 ⏪
The seasons are changing. Going out for an 11k run at 20h30 and returning in the darkness.

⏪ Week in rewind
🏃🏻 I've had a good running week. I had to switch some trainings around due to not feeling well at the beginning of the week, but overall completed everything according to my training program. A full debrief and more can be found in my next Road to Valencia post, scheduled for tomorrow.
⌨️ Although my running went well, my productivity wasn't on par. For most of the week, I've been searching for my best self, and I believe I can link it to my sleep. This got me into an obsessive search for improving my sleep, and by diving into a lot of articles, I learned a lot. Putting it all into practice with a consistent bedtime schedule helped to feel better during the weekend.
🤒 However, the cold I was suffering from at the beginning of the week did not fully disappear. While feeling better on Saturday, I started coughing more on Sunday and even got a runny nose. And today I'm feeling very tired. Guess I'll need to take it easy for the next days.
✍️ I kept my dedication to Blaugust, writing every day. As I passed the halfway mark, I also did a small reflection on its mostly positive impact up until now.
☀️ Not sure how it is in the rest of the world, but the weather has been hot/decent for the past weeks, without any rain. And it's showing. A lot of areas in our garden are turning brown, and a lot of plants and trees are losing leaves or turning brown as well. Rain is forecasted for next week, although I'm not sure if it'll be enough for everything to recover.

📱 Apps in focus
- Athlythic. An iOS fitness coach that uses all the available Apple Health data and provides advice on sleep, recovery and training. I've been using it for the past week, alongside my regular training, and I liked its guided advice on sleep and recovery.
