Weekly rewind - W08 ⏪
Almost on purpose, but I imagine the goat stood there enjoying the extra heat from the wall.
⏪ Week in rewind
☀️ Another drastic change in weather. We went from snow, just last Sunday, to the hottest 21st of February ever measured. This accompanied by sunshine, making it very enjoyable. However, it also makes me think about climate change as it shouldn't be so hot this time of year.
📷 I've published a few more shots for the 100 pics challenge and completed the first exercise of the composition challenge, titled Rule of thirds.
✍️ Following a newsletter, I reflected on the finite character of things, for good or for bad, and took it as an opportunity to cherish the good things we have going on.
🌅 I've made some changes to my morning routine. While many of the things I did after waking up were healthy habits, it took too much time before I got out of bed. So I made some changes to only do a handful and moved everything else after showering and breakfast. No need to get a rush of dopamine waking up, and moving things after breakfast also made me more present and engaged in the activities.
🎂 I had my birthday last week, but unfortunately, I was a bit sick, so we had to skip the plan to go out for dinner. Luckily the boys were off for the weekend so I and Marge could catch up on things over the weekend with a dinner, a lot of relaxation and an energizing walk.

Apps in focus
- ✍️ 750 words. Following a blogpost by Jason from So...Axodys, I stumbled on this tool that wants to help to write 750 words every day, ideally in the morning. Many people are recommending writing in the morning for clarity and creativity, and while I was sceptical about this and didn't have the time for it, I did commit to writing a few mornings last week. Honestly, it helped me find focus last Friday when I didn't feel like it. Perhaps, it's the wow effect of starting something new, but I'll keep committing 20 minutes for the next days to see how it evolves.
🏋️ Fitness log
- 🏃 Running: 15km (😐 - not as much as I wanted due to sickness & weekend off)
