Road to Valencia - Part 15 π

Intro
This is an ongoing series of how I'm preparing for the marathon of Valencia, taking place on Dec 7th. I'm using Stryd to train for this event based on running power, a metric I have found very useful for the past years.
I'm ramping up my fitness, hope to finish somewhere around 3h10 / 3h15 / 3h30 / without any expectations if I start (adjusted goal due to prolonged sickness).

Week 14 review
Overall feeling: Sad π©
I think I'm about done with dreaming to run the marathon in Valencia.
Last week, I deliberately didn't run on Monday giving me an extra day of rest. I went out on Tuesday and while I had foreseen to run for 70min, I chose to take a shorter route, just to see how it went. Running that 35km on Saturday was my ultimate goal of week, everything else was a cherry on top. However, while I ran without targets, and it felt quite ok, I did notice that the last kilometers felt harder than they normally do.
Knowing my relapsing history, I decided to take Wednesday off, again focusing on my long run on Saturday. However, to no avail. I started to feel sick again on Thursday, and even had a terrible Friday, spending most of my time in bed. Luckily I was able to see my doctor, but besides a low blood pressure, he wasn't able to see anything else that was really wrong. But after describing my symptoms, he understood that my body is likely in an exhausted state due to training and a lot of stress, making it easily susceptible to anything harmful.
The verdict was hard, but perhaps necessary, a full week of rest.
Maybe this was what I needed, telling myself to back down and only focus on one thing, rest.
I'm still undecided what I'll do, however, giving my current state and the amount of volume I already missed, it looks to be wise not to run at all.
This week
Rest
